2026 School Fees Policy

School fees refer to tuition and curriculum fees associated with the child’s schooling at Al Zahra College.

  1. Enrolment Acceptance Fee
  • When a place is offered and accepted, an acceptance fee of $600.00 is payable.
  • This fee is non-refundable.

  1. Billing of School Fees
  • Tuition and curriculum fees are billed at the beginning of each semester.
  • Additional fees required are billed separately.

  1. Family Discount
  • A reduced tuition fee is applicable to families with two or more students enrolled at the College as per the 2026 Schedule of Fees.

  1. Payment of Fees
  • School fees are due 14 days after the start of each semester.
  • Additional fees are billed as required and must be paid by the specified due date.
  • Payments can be made by direct deposit, BPay, cash/EFTPOS, or via Sentral Parents app.

  1. Non-Payment of Fees
  • As per the Enrolment Policy, non-payment of fees may result in the withdrawal of the student’s enrolment from Al Zahra College.
  • Families experiencing financial difficulty must contact the Finance Committee at finance@azc.nsw.edu.au, 10 days prior to the due date.
  • Fees that remain outstanding after the due date, without prior contact, will be considered delinquent.
  • If fees remain unpaid following a meeting with the Finance Committee, enrolment termination will be enforced immediately, and the account may be referred to a collection agency, incurring further costs.

  1. Enrolment Re-registration and School Fee Deposit
  • Re-registration for the next academic year must be confirmed by 1 November.
  • A school fee deposit of $500 is payable by the end of Term 4 once re-registration is confirmed. This deposit will be credited towards the school fees and is non-refundable if a withdrawal notice is received after 15 January, following the commencement of Term 1.
  • Failure to pay the deposit by the due date will result in the immediate withdrawal of the student’s enrolment at Al Zahra College

  1. Student Early Withdrawal

If a student withdraws from Al Zahra College, the following fees apply:

  • Before 1 April: 30% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
  • Before 1 July: 55% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
  • Before 1 October: 80% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
  • On or after 1 October: 100% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.

If a student’s enrolment ceases for reasons other than voluntary withdrawal, the tuition and curriculum fees will be calculated based on the number of weeks enrolled.

  1. Late Enrolment
  • Students enrolling during the first four weeks of school will be billed the full school fee.
  • Students enrolling after the first four weeks of school will be billed proportionally for the number of full or partial weeks of school remaining, plus a late enrolment surcharge of 5% of the annual fees.

  1. Liability
  • If both parents have signed the enrolment form, each is fully responsible for paying all school fees and any additional charges, regardless of any personal arrangements, unless otherwise specified by a court order.
  • Any requests to vary the agreement must be made in writing and approved by the College.
