Early Learning Centre

Al Zahra Kingdom is a unique Early Learning Centre which offers quality care and education for children aged 3–6. We offer a welcoming and safe learning environment where children have the opportunity to grow and reach their potential in an enjoyable, stimulating and nurturing atmosphere.

Al Zahra College is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and is authorised to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as well as the Early Years Learning Framework, which underpin our curriculum. Our program is designed to give your child multiple opportunities to learn, discover and make decisions. We understand that young learners are intelligent, resourceful and creative individuals who interact through play to make meaning of the world.

Children, families and staff at Al Zahra Kingdom are respected and valued for their unique individual qualities and the beliefs that form each family's diverse cultures. Islamic values are a key aspect of our teaching and learning process, and our educators encourage these values to inspire respect and harmony, and to give your child the best possible start in life.

Applications for admission

To apply for a place at Al Zahra Kingdom, you must submit a completed and signed expression of interest form. A separate form must be completed for each child. Applications will be accepted only after the birth of the child, and will be processed once we receive a fully completed application form signed by a parent or guardian. The Nominated Supervisor will confirm receipt and your child will be placed on the waiting list for the nominated year of entry. Acceptance of an application does not guarantee a place.

To be eligible for enrolment, your child must be three years old by 31 January in the year of entry.

There is no automatic progression from Al Zahra Kingdom to Kindergarten at Al Zahra College. Application for admission into Kindergarten involves a separate application process. If you would like to apply for a place in Kindergarten as well, please indicate this on the application form.
