A teacher is required for our new Preschool at Al Zahra College. Catering for 3-6 years old, the ideal candidate will have previous experience leading a team of early childhood professionals.  You will be professional, motivated and passionate about children, parents and staff.

Selection Criteria

- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

- Child Protection certification

- Prior experience leading teams of early childhood professionals

- Demonstrated leadership skills 

- Understanding of the NSW State Regulation Centre Based Care 2004

- Prior experience participating in the Quality Improvement Accreditation Process

- Demonstrated knowledge of the Child Protection Act 1998 and OHS legislation

- Emergent Curriculum or NSW Curriculum Framework understanding and experience

- Proven ability to lead an effective team

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent administration, organisational and time management skills

- Sound conflict resolution skills

- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with families.
